This theatrical event features actors reciting monologues from the perspectives of those most deeply impacted by Human Trafficking. Based on true stories, this emotional event will bring awareness and understanding to a dark and important topic. You've heard the statistics, now come hear their stories.
All of the monologues were inspired by survivor stories and true events. The show is directed by Janet Jones and hosted by End Slavery Tennessee. Our presenting sponsor is N2 Publishing and its giving program, N2GIVES. All ticket sales and items sold at the marketplace benefit survivors of human trafficking in End Slavery Tennessee's program. These pieces were originally commissioned and produced by Pipeline-Collective in collaboration with End Slavery Tennessee for The End Slavery Monologues (2018).
The average age of someone entering the sex trade is 13. We encourage youth and teens to attend this program, but parental guidance is suggested. Mature content dealing with sexual violence is part of the production.
Doors open at 6 PM for a marketplace where audience members can buy survivor art and other items supporting End Slavery Tennessee, as well as food and drinks. The show begins promptly at 7 and runs for 90 minutes. The marketplace and bar will open back up after the show for an additional 90 minutes.
Tickets are also available at the door and can be bought with cash or card.
